7-8 bakers per class
Everyone is welcome in this class.
You’ll mix 2 different types of dough (sweet and granary) and learn how to shape and bake a tin loaf, individual rolls and 4 different types of sweet Nordic bun.
Skill levels vary in every class – from people who bake every week and want to master a specific skill to those who haven’t baked a loaf of bread in their life. With only 7 or 8 bakers per class, there’s plenty of opportunity for questions, discussion and one-to-one tuition.
Nordic Breads include
Sockerkringlor (sweet sugar pretzels)
Vaniljbullar (vanilla sunshine buns)
Blabarsbullar (blueberry and custard buns)
Kannelbullar (traditional cinnamon buns)
A rye loaf and little rye buns to take home and to share for smorrebrod lunch
9.30am Coffee and a chat about your baking experience and what you’d like out of the day
1.30pm Lunch in the sun room with a glass of wine and the first taste of your own bread
4.30pm Aim to finish. Times vary depending on experience, conversation and the weather!
What to bring: Just yourself, your questions and a smile. All equipment, aprons, ingredients, recipes, refreshments and lunch are included.
